5G launch in not too far away and the wait is almost over.Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reveal more details about the 5G rollout and even talk about 6G at upcoming India Mobile congress (IMC) event,which will start on October1.
The IMC even will be held for four days,but the announcement on 5G will talk place on the first day.Do keep in mind that the PM Narendra Modi will just talk about 5G advancements and its vision for 6G.So,don't expect that the 5G services will launch on October 1. The telecom giants like Reliance JIo and Airtel have already confirmed that 5G services will be rolled out by Diwali.The festival of lights will start in India on the launch date yet and the same is expected to be revealed on October 1.

The prices of 5G plans will be revealed next month.The Union IT minister Ashwini Vaishnaw recentlya asserted that the 5G plans will be affordable and people won't have to pay high prices in order to experince that latest and fastest network.Currently,customers get unlimited benefits with 4G prepaid plans priced between Rs 500 to Rs 600. so, there are chances that the 5G plans could be priced in a similar range.it remains to be seen how expensive 5G will be in India.
Airtel users won't be required to buy a new SIM for 5G as the company has announced that people who bo
ught 4G SIMs will already have support for the latest network. The telecom giant also revealed that its costomers will be able to check for 5G availability in their area on the Airtel Thanks app.Vodafone Idea (Vi) is also expected to roll out 5G soon, but the details are yet to be revealed.
